America's 250th Anniversary National Treasure Duck Hunt!

Get ready for an adventure through history!
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the library is bringing Fort Scott’s vibrant past to life with an exciting National Treasure Duck Hunt. We’ve hidden 250 playful ducks around town, each with a QR code on its bottom—and 50 of these lucky ducks have a golden dollar coin! To start your hunt, grab your scavenger clues at the library, city hall, or any business proudly displaying a “250 Celebrate Duck.” As you discover ducks, scan the QR codes and upload your photos to the library website to share your discoveries. There are five unique, patriotic ducks waiting to be found. Don’t wait—this thrilling hunt runs only from June 27 to July 11. After that, the treasures will disappear into history once more!
